Transmission

This function should be used only when the EGS TCM has been replaced or needs to be re-initialized. It will write the current vehicle configuration, programmed tire size, axle ratio etc. CAUTION! This function in case of programming failure may in extreme case disable the vehicle in case of outdated software version in the NAG1 gear controller or if a non-recommended OBD2 interface is used. To be sure, before using contact us. NOTE: This routine may have set DTCs in other ECUs. Please cycle the key OFF for a minumum of 30 seconds and clear any DTCs that might have been set during the procedure. The usage of this routine is at your own risk!

This procedure will perform an adaption of the clutches. Parking brake must be set, brake pedal pressed, and transmission oil temperature above 131 F / 55 C. Refer to the Factory Service Manual for the details.

This routine should be used when the transmission or any of its components have been replaced. All the learned shift adaptives will be reset back to the factory settings.

This function should be used to store any changes to the learned adaptives, during the Drive Test.

This procedure will perform an adaption of the clutches. Parking brake must be set, brake pedal pressed, and transmission oil temperature above 140 F / 60 C. Refer to the Factory Service Manual for the details.

This routine is used when the CVT controller has been replaced or needs to be re-initialized. This procedure will program a new or existing CVT with the current vehicle config, VIN, trans ROM values and the tire size programmed into the TIPM. Refer to the Factory Service Manual for the details.

This function allows you to manually edit EGS Variant Coding Data. It will read the current Variant Coding Data, allows you to edit it manually and write it to TCM. In case of programming failure TCM can be in limp-in mode! Continue if you understand the risk. The usage of this routine is at your own risk!
